Located 1 mile from Giants Stadium, RME opened September 3rd, 1993 with little more than a few acoustics and some amps. 15 years later, we have grown into one of the finest music stores in the tri state area. We stock over 200 guitars and amps, new and used gear. We offer music lessons for the beginner to the most advanced students with over 170 students currently enrolled. We buy, trade and consign instruments and gear so please contact us if you’re selling !

At the Rutherford Music Exchange, Our goal is to remain the personal and professional music shop you’ve come to know. We don’t have that mega-store mentality.
